What Is "Ground Rule Double" Exactly?
"Ground Rule Double" is a Monthly Satirical Publication Written (with a few exceptions), Edited, Designed, Published, Distributed, and Destroyed by WJ Student Donald Borenstein. It is Modeled after the satirical newspaper "The Onion", as it features both humorous satire and pop-culture criticism (a la "The A.V. Club").
"Ground Rule Double" is Donald's senior project; it was inspired by the senior project of friend and WJ alumnus Rafi Norberg, who created the satirical newspaper "The Screwball".
"Ground Rule Double", unlike "The Onion" is always open to your contributions. In fact, we're practically begging for them. So if you think you have something even remotely resembling talent, or there is something that angers you so much you want to sit down and write about it outside the context of school, then feel free to write something up, and chances are pretty good it will at least get in the online edition.
